To Whom it May Concern;
Oh, deviantART. I used to post a journal once a month (if not more), and now my last post was in JANUARY. My life has been crazy, but I've had the time to spend with you. I know I've looked at you more than once and decided that my journal, my page, could wait a little longer.
Oh, my dear one. You were once a big part of my life, but now...it seems like I am spending more and more time on different webpages.
For instance, love, Tumblr owns my soul. I thought I could handle my passion with tumblr, but I'm head over heels in love with it. Tumblr is always new, always interesting...and lets be honest, a lot of the time I see facets of you on there. Not always the good parts, either, my dear, but the darker, gross parts of you that I didn't know existed until I distanced myself from you. Some parts of you...well, we'll leave it at that. If only it was just another website that has taken me from you!
I'm afraid real life has gotten in the way. I've graduated college and now I'm working, trying to balance my work days with my normal life. Trying to balance my lovelife with my normal life. Trying to find balance within me. It hasn't been easy, my dearest, but it has been rather fulfilling.
I take more time for myself. I've started reading again, working on growing sunflowers, even creating art out of Sculpey. It's been rewarding, my dear, and even though I don't always share my creative parts with you, I think of you often. Oh lovely, forgive my wondering eye. One day, I will devote more time to you. I will do so with all the passion in my heart...until then...
